03Billing questions
- How am I billed?
- A single monthly platform fee for your workspace, plus VAT, paid by card. You add the card when your workspace is set up, and the first charge is taken only when your 14-day trial ends. After that the plan renews monthly; once you are up and running, ask us and we move you to annual billing for two months free (a 17% saving).
- How does the 14-day trial work?
- Every new workspace starts with 14 days of the full product, whichever plan you picked: every feature unlocked and the top AI allowance. We email you three days and one day before it ends, stating the exact first charge. To cancel, press Cancel subscription under Settings, then Billing; the trial still runs its full two weeks and nothing is charged.
- How do seats work?
- Each plan includes a team at the platform fee (2 on Starter, 5 on Pro, 8 on Ultra), sized to fit the whole team most firms bring. Need more people? Extra seats are £15, £40, and £75 a month on Starter, Pro, and Ultra, and every extra seat also lifts your shared AI pool (by 1M, 4M, and 6M tokens), so a bigger team never means less AI per head. The per-seat rate rises with the tier because a seat there carries more AI horsepower.
- What are AI tokens?
- Tokens are how AI work is measured: drafting an email, researching a company, or running an analysis all draw from one shared monthly pool for your workspace, which grows with every seat you add. Starter suits everyday use, Pro covers heavy daily work, Ultra is for very high volume, and you are never billed for going over. At the cap, AI generation pauses rather than running up a surprise bill.
- Can I change tier later?
- Any time, in either direction, right from your workspace: Settings, then Billing, then Change plan. Upgrades apply immediately and invoice the prorated difference at once; downgrades apply immediately and credit the unused time against your next invoice. Your data, settings, and history carry over untouched.
